If your disability makes looking after the garden hard, your NDIS plan may cover someone to do it for you. Top Cut Gardening Care is a local team based in Marangaroo, looking after lawns, garden beds and hedges for NDIS participants across Perth’s northern suburbs — from Yanchep and Joondalup to Ballajura and Stirling. You can book us yourself, or a family member, carer or support coordinator can book for you.
✅ Police-cleared, and the same small local team every visit — at a pace that suits you, with a neat, safe yard when we leave.
NDIS gardening is about keeping your yard safe, tidy and manageable — the everyday jobs you’d do yourself if your disability didn’t get in the way.
Lawn mowing and edging. Front and back lawns mown to the right height for the season, edges trimmed along paths and driveways, and clippings caught and taken away. More on our lawn mowing service.
Weeding and garden beds. Hand weeding of beds, paths and paving — roots and all, no spraying — plus dead plants cleared and mulch spread to keep the weeds down.
Hedges, shrubs and pruning. Hedges shaped and shrubs cut back from paths, windows and walkways, so you can get around the yard safely.
Green waste, gutters and clean-ups. All green waste taken away on the day, gutters cleared, and a one-off garden clean-up if the yard has got away from you — then regular visits to keep it that way.
Often, yes. Gardening and lawn mowing usually come from the Core Supports part of your plan (Assistance with Daily Life), under the support item House or Yard Maintenance. The NDIS generally funds it when:
✅ Every plan is different. Check yours, or ask your support coordinator — we’re happy to talk it through with them.
✅ Plan-managed? The invoice goes straight to your plan manager, so there’s nothing for you to chase. Self-managed? We invoice you directly with everything you need to claim it.
Timely, efficient work to keep your garden in top shape.
Insured, police-cleared gardeners with 10+ years of local experience.
We leave your property spotless after every job.
Tailored solutions to help your garden thrive in Perth’s climate.
We’re a small local gardening business, not a big agency — one phone number, the same faces every visit, and a garden that’s looked after properly. On a pension rather than an NDIS plan? See our pensioner gardening page.
Regular lawn, garden and hedge care, one-off yard clean-ups, hand weeding, gutter cleaning and same-day green waste removal — with invoices set up for plan managers and self-managed plans, and before-and-after photos if you or your family want them.
Home modifications, landscaping or garden redesigns, tree lopping (that’s an arborist’s job) or chemical weed spraying — we hand-weed.

Highly recommend Top Cut Gardening Care. They did a fantastic job on my garden — turned up on time, worked efficiently, and left everything looking neat and tidy. Friendly, professional, and clearly take pride in their work.

Really pleased with Top Cut Gardening Care. From start to finish the service was excellent — they showed up when they said they would, got stuck in, and the garden looked transformed by the time they left.

I recently used Gardening in Perth and I'm extremely happy with the result. The team did an excellent job, they were professional, efficient, and clearly take pride in their work.

Often, yes. Yard maintenance usually comes from your Core Supports budget (Assistance with Daily Life — House or Yard Maintenance) when your disability means you can’t do it yourself and it’s reasonable and necessary. Check your plan or ask your support coordinator.
Self-managed and plan-managed plans. If your plan is agency-managed (NDIA-managed), NDIS rules say those supports have to come from a registered provider, so check with your support coordinator.
Yes. We send an itemised invoice straight to your plan manager with your name, NDIS number, the support item (House or Yard Maintenance), the dates and hours worked, and our ABN.
Yes — we hold a police clearance. Just ask if you’d like to see it.
Absolutely. Anyone helping you can call or send the quote form, and we’ll keep them in the loop if you’d like us to.
No tools needed — we bring everything and take the green waste away. The NDIS usually pays for the labour, not materials, so if a job needs mulch or plants we’ll tell you upfront what that would cost.
